What is a student success?

The term student success is now widely used in education and, as such, it is now an important topic of discussion. As the name suggests, student success refers to a student’s academic achievement as well as their personal development, both inside and outside of the classroom. College is an exciting time in your life. It’s a time to take on new challenges, explore ideas you never thought possible, meet new friends and test the limits of your creativity. 

But college is also a time for figuring things out. You may not know what you want to do with your life or what career path you want to pursue. You might be struggling with adjusting to independence or feeling homesick. No matter what phase of the college experience you are in, there are many ways to help you be successful in college. 

By reaching out for help, staying connected with others and using all the resources at your campus student success center, you can find success in college.
